Dry conditions along with gusty Santa Ana winds is raising the threat of wildfire in the inland valleys and mountains of San Diego County. A red flag warning was issued for the inland valleys and mountains until 6 p.m. Wednesday, due to forecasts of sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 60 mph. A red flag warning is the National Weather Service's most serious fire-related warning. In addition to strong winds, the inland valleys and mountains are likely to see a low daytime humidity of around 5 to 10 percent. A less-serious high wind warning was also issued for the valleys and mountains until noon Wednesday. A high wind warning is issued when hazardous winds capable of causing property damage are occurring
