The FBI is asking for the public's help in locating a violent fugitive who was recently seen in the San Francisco Bay Area and may be headed to Mexico. Officials believe he may be hiding out in San Diego. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the arrest of 28-year-old Kevin Briggs, who escaped from police in Montana last week. Briggs is a felon and registered sex offender who is accused of assaults against a woman and a police officer. The FBI says Briggs may be staying in homeless shelters. The brown-haired Briggs is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds.
