19-year-old Isaiah Silva was arrested along with a 17-year-old juvenile for allegedly setting patches of vegetation ablaze in Escondido as emergency personnel struggled to control devastating wildfires sweeping across the San Diego area last week.

On Tuesday, the San Diego County District Attorney's office said there was insufficient evidence to suggest that he had set any fires.

The 17 year old, whose name was not released because he is under 18, was scheduled for a detention hearing Tuesday, but the media's request to be in the courtroom was denied and a spokeswoman for the Juvenile Division said they are not allowed to comment on pending cases, so it is possible charges against him were not filed either.
