Shamu is no more at Southwest Airlines.  The airlines' 737's painted to look like the killer whale will soon be a thing of the past following a joint announcement Thursday by SeaWorld and Southwest Airlines that ends the companies 25-year partnership with the Shamu image.

The airline and operator of the theme parks issued a joint statement saying the three planes that depict Shamu will be repainted in the Southwest colors of orange and blue.

The airline came under pressure by PETA and other animal rights organizations over its relationship with SeaWorld because of the imnpact from the controversial documentary ``Blackfish.''

The companies declined further comment but said they would continue to work together through Southwest Vacations.
