A man was arrested Monday on suspicion of robbing a specialty coffee and cigarette store in the Gaslamp District.

Police said the suspect walked into the store, pulled out a gun, held it to an employee's face and demanded money. The robbery was reported around 1:30 a.m. at Tabac, located at 589 3rd Avenue.

The man fled and officers searched the gaslamp. They eventually spotted a male matching the description of the suspect. Police said he also had warrants out against him. They are still searching for the gun, and the stolen money.
