Attorney Gloria Allred told reporters Thursday that she and her client in the sex harassment lawsuit against Bob Filner and the city have not approved a deal worked out in mediation.  That deal is scheduled to be voted on by the City Council Friday afternoon.

At a news conference. Allred said the council should not approve any deal that would require the city to pay any of Filner's legal fees in defending her lawsuit that was filed on behalf of former Filner communications director Irene McCormack Jackson.

Meantime, reports continue that Filner will resign tomorrow if the council approves the deal.

Also at the news conference was Filner's former fiancee, Bronwyn Ingram, who said "Bob should resign" and let the city heal and move on.
