The first storm of the season is expected to bring much cooler temperatures, light rain and gusty winds to San Diego County. High temperatures in the region will be 15 to 25 degrees below average. Forecaster James Thomas says rainfall from the system is expected to range from around a tenth to a third of an inch near the coast and to over an inch in the mountains. The rain will be off and on no real downpour is expected but the roads will get slippery.
