(Cleveland) The Cavs started the pre-season on the right foot Tuesday night by beating the Milwaukee bucks by a final score of 99-87.

Tristan Thompson led the Cavs with 17 points and 8 rebounds, while Kyrie Irving had 14 points and 3 assists. C.J. Miles and Dion Waiters each had 12 points.

Number 1 draft choice Anthony Bennett recovered from a slow start to finish with 7 points and 10 rebounds, while undrafted Kenny Kadji had 15 points and 5 rebounds.

Thompson's 13 points and 7 rebounds helped the Cavs to a 52-38 lead at halftime.
