(Highland Heights) – If one suburb has its way, residents won't be able to feed their pets – or any animal, for that matter – outside their homes.

Highland Heights city council is considering an ordinance that would prohibit you from feeding animals outside. This would be in order to control deer, raccoons and even rats by not having any leftover food to attract them.

It all started when a Highland Heights resident complained about a neighbor feeding deer.

The Plain Dealer says that communities neighboring Highland Heights already have similar ordinances.
