(Westlake) – A 22-year-old man is in jail, accused by Westlake police of stabbing his parents Monday night.

Police say they received a hang-up 911 call from 27965 Southbridge Drive. When police called back, they found out that 58-year-old Kim Jaworski and his 56-year-old wife Carol had been stabbed by their 22-year-old son Robert Jaworski.

Both Kim and Carol were taken to St. John Medical Center and then airlifted to Metrohealth. Carol is in stable condition; Kim has life-threatening injuries.

North Olmsted, Rocky River, and Bay Village police assisted in the search for the suspect, which ended at 11:29PM when he was arrested at Porter Rd. and Lansing Dr. without incident. He is in the Westlake City Jail.

Charges have not been filed yet, but Robert Jaworski could be charged with two counts of attempted murder.
