This Man Is Wanted For Sexual Assault In Little Italy

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate an unknown suspect wanted for a burglary and sexual assault.

On Thursday, August 17, 2017, at approximately 1:44 a.m., San Diego Police Communications was contacted regarding a burglary hot prowl in the 2400 block of India Street. 

San Diego Police Central Division officers responded to the scene. Through the investigation, it was determined an unknown male entered the residence of the victim through an open bedroom window, as she and other occupants of the house slept. 

The victim awoke and screamed when the male touched her inappropriately.

 A resident of the apartment chased the male as he fled out of the front door.

 The male was last seen running out of the apartment complex via the east gate leading to 2400 India Street. 

Video surveillance was obtained depicting the suspect walking onto the property via a pedestrian walkway located on the north side of the apartment complex. 

The suspect is described as a White male with a tan complexion or Hispanic male, between 25 to 30-years-old, 5’9” tall, weighs 170 lbs., brown eyes, mustache and beard with brown medium length hair.

The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
