It's been talked about for decades, a car that can turn into an airplane. Or maybe it's an airplane that turns into a car. Either way, a company in the Netherlands has started sales of the Liberty Pioneer and the Liberty Sport.
"After years of hard work, beating the technical and qualification challenges, our team succeeded in creating an innovative flying car that complies with existing safety standards, determined by regulatory bodies around the world," said the CEO of PAL-V, the maker of the vehicles.
It is a rather snappy looking, but be prepared to pay dearly for the flying car. The Liberty versions starts at $399,000 while the Pioneer goes for $599,000.
