San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Child Abuse Unit are asking for the public's help to identify and locate a man who has been groping young female victims in the early morning hours in the Mira Mesa area.
These incidents have occurred on several occasions between September 1, 2016 and January 24, 2017. Investigators believe the sexual assaults are being committed by the same suspect. The suspect is described as:Hispanic male, 5’1” to 5’5” tall, average build, late 20’s to late 30’s, with a bushy mustache. The suspect speaks Spanish and English with a Spanish accent. During some of the incidents the suspect was wearing a baseball cap with the logo “California Republic” which has a bear on the front.These incidents have occurred in the following areas: 9000 Mira Mesa Boulevard; 9200 Hillery Drive Mesa Village apartments located at 10500 Caminito Baywood.
