I was fascinated by the 60's show Batman as a kid. Loved the cheesy "BOOM", "WOOSH", "KAPOW" special effects and of course, the groovy Batmobile.
City officials in LA paid tribute to the late Adam West, the man who brought Batman to life all those years ago, by shining the Bat Signal on City Hall. West died last week at the age of 88.
