Retiring early is a dream for many but, if you can make it a reality it just may help you live longer.
A recent study done in the Netherlands seems to reinforce other studies that conclude getting out of the rat race early is a good thing for your health.
Positive effects include a reduced risk of diseases like diabetes.
But, as detailed in The New York Times it does matter what you do in retirement. Sitting around with an idle body and idle mind isn't good for you either.
