Man Walks Coast to Coast for Parkinson's Awareness

Bill Buklew was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson's at the age of 43. A diagnosis he wasn't going to sit down for. He decided to educate, inspire and raise awareness about the disease.

Bill started walking...and walking...and walking. He organized a coast to coast walk of more than 2,500 miles, from the Georgia coast to Imperial Beach where he shared his story and listened to the stories of others who shared his diagnosis. His walk ended in San Diego January 31st.

Listen below as Bill shares the details of his walk across the U.S. and his on-going efforts to help find a cure for Parkinson's.

Information on how you can support Bills' efforts are available on his website along with photos of his trek across the country.
