At least three "March for Our Lives" events are scheduled in San Diego Saturday as similar marches are planned nationwide by the group working to draw attention to the issue of gun violence.
The "March for Our Lives" campaign says its goal is to demand action from government leaders to make changes in the nation's gun policies. According to the group's website, kids and their families plan to march.
The nationwide march follows the earlier walk out by students across the country in the wake of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida February that left 17 people dead.
The main march is scheduled at 10a.m. at the Waterfront Park along Pacific Highway.
More information on the three local "March for Our Lives" is available on the group's website.
