The Porn Star and the President

I’m not loving the latest spate of women coming forward to talk about their time with Mr. Trump. It’s tawdry.

I’ve had sex, so I don’t need the details, and you probably have too, so we are all pretty sure what happens when two people are alone and frisky.

There are some variations on a theme, but, I doubt they are that exciting.

Of course, it’s always much more delicious when it’s about someone we don’t like. Politically or otherwise.

And boy, do we make hay over it when it’s political.

The salivating over Bill Clinton’s promiscuity by Republicans, and subsequent blaming of the women (bimbo eruptions,) by Democrats, comes to mind.

And now we have the gory details of Donald Trump’s promiscuity. The Democrats are salivating and the Republicans are slut-shaming.

Both men are indefensible. They are terrible husbands.

They aren’t the only ones, heck, Power creates opportunity, and too often, that opportunity is exploited by those with that power.

And too often, people are drawn to it because they, too, want a taste.

People start affairs for a lot of different reasons, but you add money to the mix, and that’s a temptation, indeed.

No one in this story looks good. Not the men who mess around on their wives. Not the women who mess around with those men.

I’m finding it interesting that some of the same people who defended Bill Clinton so vociferously during his troubles, are on the other side of this for Mr. Trump.

And some of those who derided Bill Clinton’s behavior Back then, are defending Donald Trump, now.

They are both terrible men with no honor. They are indefensible. And the hypocrisy is piled around us like dung at a stockyard. Grab a shovel, there’s a lot more to come, I suspect.
