Viral Video Costs New York-New Jersey Official Her Job

A commissioner for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey appointed by former Gov. Chris Christie has resigned after she was seen yelling and cussing at two police officers during a traffic stop involving her daughter.

Caren Turner,  is on dashcam video released by the police department in Tenafly, New Jersey seeming to use her position to pressure the officers after they made pulled over her daughter on March 31st illegally tinted windows.  Police say the car’s registration had expired and told the driver they had to impound the vehicle.

The New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association praised the Tenafly police department officers for keeping their “composure despite conduct of political appointee.”   Turner submitted her resignation last week but she has not been charged.
