San Diego Law Enforcement Looking At School Safety

Law enforcement from across the county came together with school administrators in San Diego during a day long summit to address school safety in the months after the shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Locally, there have been dozens of threats and arrests in the aftermath of the incident at Stoneman Douglas High School, and law enforcement wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page.

Sheriff Bill Gore gave KOGO News a rundown of the response here in San Diego.

San Diego Police Chief David Nisleit also addressed the threats that the City has seen since the shooting in Florida, happy to have a coordinated effort to respond to any incident.
