Chef Marcus Samuelsson on SD's Morning News!

Chef Marcus Samuelsson traveled the country to sample cuisine from around the world! This is very exciting to me, because I grew up in a small Texas town in cattle country. Our mainstay was steak, with a side of steak. And Mexican food. 

Not that there is anything wrong with that. 

It was when I moved to Phoenix, in my 20's, that I tried my first "worldy" cuisine. It was Thai food, and I fell in love. 

From there, I started going everywhere I could, to find food from ANYWHERE!

Today, I still actively search-out food I have never tried, or have little experience with. And it is lovely.
