Video Here: Police Need Help Finding Man Who Punched Woman In The Gaslamp

San Diego Police have released video of a man punching a woman in the Gaslamp in hopes of finding the suspect. It happened around 8:30 Monday night at 6th Avenue and E Street. Police say a woman walking in the area noticed an argument between a man and his fiancée, and she tried to step in saying she was going to call 911.

That's when the man is seen punching the woman in the face before running away. The fiancée remained at the scene, but refused to give officers any information. The suspect is described as a black man, 50-years-old, 6'2", 245-pounds, wearing a brown suit and cream colored shirt.

Anyone with information should contact San Diego Police Detective Sergeant Dan Brinkerhoff at (619) 744-9510 or email at dmbrinkerhoff@pd.sandiego.gov.
