Riverside County Animal Control officials are looking for a woman seen on surveillance video dumping a bag containing seven three-day-old puppies into a trash bin in Coachella.
The video taken last Thursday afternoon shows the suspect pulling up in a Jeep next to a bin outside the Napa Auto Parts store on Grapefruit Boulevard. The woman is seen getting out of the vehicle and throwing the bag into the trash before driving away.
A passerby witnessed the incident and contacted animal control officials. The pups were immediately taken to an animal shelter.
