Doctors are closely examining the case of a Solano County woman to learn more about how the Coronavirus is being transmitted.
The case of the unidentified California woman who's being treated at UC Davis in Sacramento County, may hold answers since her case is unique. She has not recently traveled out of the country or been associated with anyone who was infected. Since she did not fit existing criteria, she was not immediately tested for the virus when presenting symptoms at a Vacaville hospital.
The CDC issued a statement saying this case may be the first case of "community spread" in the U.S. with the source of infection, unknown.
