The three deaths bringing the total for the county to 63 since the outbreak began. The latest deaths involved people who had underlying medical conditions...a woman in her late 30's, a man in his early 50's and a woman in her late 70's.

County health officials say there were 75 new cases of the coronavirus over the last 24 hours bringing the total to 2,087 in San Diego since the pandemic outbreak began.

County Supervisor says that despite the progress made flattening the curve, residents in the county to stay the course and stay at home except for essential trips and keep away from other people and wear a mask or face coverings or else things could get worse. Public Health Director Dr. Wilma Wooten said Thursday that we are still only halfway through the critical month of April and the county will not ease public health orders until it is safe for public health.
