San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Lifeguards are investigating a death offshore after a body was discovered near Sunset Cliffs.
According to SDFD Lifeguard Lt. Lonnie, they received a call of a body floating about 200-yards away in the water near Ladera St. and Sunset Cliff Blvd on Friday, November 26, at around 6:30 P.M.
The person who first discovered the body and called in the report was a fisherman looking for lobster, reports CBS8.
Lifeguards retrieved the body and took it to lifeguards HQ where it was then transferred to the Medical Examiner for identification and cause of death. Both are still unknown at this time.
According to CBS8 the only information that was available was that the victim was male and fully clothed. His age is unknown.
