Padres Need One More Win to Advance to NL Championship Series

The Padres beat the Dodgers Friday night 2-1 in a game in front of probably the loudest crowd in Petco Park history.

Padre starting pitcher Blake Snell allowed only 5 hits into the sixth inning and Trent Grisham hit a home run again as the Padres moved to within one win of making it to the NL Championshjp series. for the first time since 1998.

The Padres bullpen held the Dodgers scoreless over the last three innings with Josh Hader getting the save. The Dodgers, who won 111 games during the regular season, the most in baseball, need to win the last two games of the best of 5 NL Divisional series to avoid elimination.
