Valerya at Rancho Coastal Humane Society

Adopt a pet in San Diego: Rescue dogs and cats up for adoption are featured in partnership with the Rancho Coastal Humane Society animal shelter.

Valerya was left in Louisiana when there was no room on a rescue flight of dogs from Hurricane Florence. A San Diego rescuer promised to return for Valerya and her friends. She did! The dogs were transferred through FOCAS. Now they need new homes. Velarya is a 3-month old Dachshund/Hound mix who will be available for adoption November 1st. Her new family will want to continue her puppy training.

As part of our weekly PET ADOPTION WEEKLY SEGMENT (PAWS), we're hoping you or someone you know will be interested in making Valerya a part of the family.  Learn more about Valerya. PAWS is brought to you by Nick Adamo’s Farmer’s Insurance Agency.

The $195 adoption fee for Valerya includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day except Tuesday.
