Adopt Hyacinth from Rancho Coastal Humane Society

Meet the lovely Hyacinth, a 2-year old Domestic Short Hair who is up for adoption at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

HYACINTH is a brand new mom, just recovering from her babies growing up and “flying the coop”.   She loves attention from her people and will rub against your legs and lay still for pets, as well as greet visitors to your house.  HYACINTH is a fantastic “huntress”,  she will chase the cat wand and perform gymnastics to get the toy dangling on the end of it!   She taught all her babies to “hunt” as well.  HYACINTH would do fine in a household with a dog, as she had her litter around one in her foster home and taught the dog “The Golden Rules”.   If you would like the perfect mix of independent and affectionate come see HYACINTH at the shelter.  She may just be the cat for you!

As part of our weekly PET ADOPTION WEEKLY SEGMENT (PAWS), we're hoping you or someone you know will be interested in making Hyacinth a part of the family.  Learn more about Hyacinth.  PAWS is brought to you by Nick Adamo’s Farmer’s Insurance Agency.

The $100 adoption fee for Hyacinth includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day except Tuesday.

Nick Adamo is a huge dog lover and animal advocate. He started partnering with Rancho Coastal Humane Society two years ago because RCHS’ main goal is to encourage adoption of animals into permanent, loving homes. RCHS’ adoption process is tailored to find the best match between people and pets and also promote humane ideals through education and community outreach pets and people. Nick is proud to support Rancho Coastal Humane Society and all that they do for animals.
