Why Some Fast Food May Be Blessed

What are we to think of a new nationwide survey that shows California founded and based In-n-Out is no longer America’s top overall fast food restaurant?

The survey says Chick-fil-A is now #1.

According to a news release from Market Force, they surveyed more than 7,000 people between 18 and 65 and included a cross section of the country.

Because Chick-fil-A has 23-hundred locations across the county, and In-n-Out has only 340, all in the West, some might say the survey is skewed.

But the survey suggests it more about quality than quantity.

Consumers were asked how satisfied they were their most recent visit and whether they would recommend the restaurant to others, ranking them on such things as overall cleanliness, how they liked the food, and the atmosphere at the place.

Chick-fil-A beat In-n-Out by a few points in a key area: staff friendliness.

Interestingly, besides high rankings, these top two fast food chains share something that others do not, something that sometimes generates controversy.

Subtle but public profession of Christian faith….with In-n-Out known for its Bible verses on cups and things and Chick-fil-A’s long standing policy of closing on Sundays.

You might say this new survey of fast food restaurant popularity, both of them are blessed.
