How to Be Lucky on Friday the 13th

There are studies that say Friday the 13th’s are actually safer than other Fridays.

And it actually makes sense. If you’re a superstitious type, then you may tend to stay indoors on Friday the 13th.   If you’re not, but not fully convinced you’re not, then you still may tend to not take too many chances on a Friday the 13th just in case and maybe avoid black cats and ladders.

And if you’re one of those who think that fears about Friday the 13th are a bunch of hooey, you’re probably not going to admit to anyone you had any bad luck anyway and if something does go wrong, you’re not going to blame it on bad luck.

And then there are those who say Friday the 13th is actually a lucky day for them. That 13 is their lucky number.

After all, there are always some slot machine winners at the local casinos on Friday the 13th. And others who just happen to get that best seat in the restaurant or that parking space right in front on Friday the 13th.

Whatever your view of Friday the 13th, it’s good to remember, what Thomas Jefferson once said: “I’m a great believer in luck…and I find the harder I work….the more I have it.”
