For more than a year, you heard people saying it. When this pandemic and all these shutdowns are over, we’re going to Disneyland.
Well, the pandemic isn’t over and all the restrictions are not gone, but Disneyland and the other theme parks in California are going to soon be opening. They won’t be open for as nearly many people with limits on capacity in parks to 50-percent or even less, but they are opening, and it’s been a long time since they first closed about a year ago.
The question now is how many people will go and how many people will wait for a while. If you do go, you’ll have to follow certain protocols, but there won’t be the crowds you’re used to and you probably won’t have to wait as long in line to get on the rides.
The determining factor for a lot of people will be whether they are fully vaccinated. But for others, they’re so anxious to get back to the happiest place on earth, they’re likely to be there on the first day.
We all want things to get back to normal. And going to Disneyland and the other theme parks is what a lot of us who live here and a lot who don’t normally do during the summer when the kids are out of school. With a lot of kids just starting to go back to school and maybe having to do some extra time in school this summer, it may not be like just like it used to be but at least things are getting closer to getting normal.
But just like standing in line at Disneyland, you have to be patient and follow the rules, because it could still take some time.
