How and When Will Ukraine War End

This week’s expected announcement that the U.S. will be sending Ukraine an advanced air defense system is being praised by military commentators who say that without it, Ukraine will have a hard time stopping Russian forces.

Ukrainian president Zelensky has been asking for more advanced weapons from the U.S and its allies since the Russian invasion began. One military expert over the weekend on cable news said that Ukrainian forces need to be able to defend themselves from Russian planes dropping bombs and missiles on them, described in one report today as “Russia pouring fire” on Ukrainian cities and forces.

And the missile attack in the last couple of days on an apartment building in the capital city of Kiev, is a sign the Russians are not only interested in capturing the eastern sliver of Ukraine.

All of this is happening as the leaders of the U.S. and the other G-7 democratic nations, which include the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan, are meeting to decide how to further penalize and stop Russia while not making inflation and their economies worse.

And as these world leaders meet, more civilians and soldiers in Ukraine are being killed, tens of millions of refugee families from Ukraine are worried there will be nothing left to go home to...and most of the rest of the world is wondering when and how this will end.
