What Apple is Telling Users to Do Immediately

Did you get the word? If you’re an Apple user, you need to know.

Apple telling users of most of its I-phones and other devices to download a software update as soon as possible.

They’ve discovered a vulnerability that gives hackers the ability to take control oPf I-Phones and I-Pads. Even the U.S government’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure and Security Agency is involved encouraging users to get the updates downloaded now..

This news comes as the big story in politics right now is about the security of secret government documents, from the White House to Mar-a-Lago.

These developments raise new issues about the ability to keep personal devices and government documents secure. And how best to prevent hackers from stealing critical cyber information.

But keeping things secure is not as easy as you might think, even with all the software protections.

According to a report by Axios, for instance, the reason much of the Top-Secret information at the White House remains on paper, on documents, is because of the security vulnerabilities of standard commercial devices.

We all know there are plenty of cyber crooks and scammers out there trying to get our personal information. And we also know there are foreign governments trying to get secrets and trying to affect our elections.

It’s getting to the point where we can’t even ask Siri a question without worrying if she’ll pass it along to someone.
