WATCH: Some Hope from a Hurricane About the Country's Future?

It took a huge storm that caused massive destruction and death to make it happen, but happen it did.

President Biden and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis meeting and saying nice things about each other. The Democratic president saying DeSantis has done a good job. The Republican governor thanking the President for the job he’s done getting federal help to Florida.

There were many Americans who watched what happened between the two of them as the President met with the Governor in Ft Meyers Florida and probably or hopefully, thought that maybe it is possible for opposing and fighting with other politicians can come together to get things done.

There was one American, a woman who lives in South Carolina where the big hurricane also left destruction and death, who posted on social media this comment:

“I would love to see our government get back to a place where they can truly come together like this for the best of all Americans….This was very touching and assuring to see Biden & DeSantis come together to help…I'm not conservative or liberal, just the Average working-class American praying for the best of our country.”

That’s about as well said as it could be said. Including the part about praying for our country. Maybe our politically divided country can find a way for both sides to come together and heal it.
