How to Beat the Christmas Season Rush This Year

The countdown to Christmas Day is underway. December 25th is two weeks away.

The stores of course have been selling holiday products for well over a month and many of the holiday events began early this month and now the sights and sounds of the Christmas season are everywhere.

But a lot of To-Do lists for the holidays are still long lists, with gifts still to buy, parties to plan, travel plans to make, dinners to decide, pageants to attend and places still to go and work to finish up.

As the song says, the Christmas rush is on. And that can mean the pressure is on.

As another song says, it’s the happiest time of the year, but it also can be the busiest time of the year.

So with two weeks to go, are you feeling the big rush that happens this time of year? You have so much still to do with less time now to get it done, you’re feeling stressed?

You’re not alone. Sometimes all the holiday busyness can almost even make you secretly long for the end of it.

The experts say the holiday season doesn’t have to stress us out so much if we set our minds to it and not let the rush steal our joy and peace.

Because as Linus so rightly put it, "That’s what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown".
