What Happens When You Can't Be Home for Christmas Thanks to Rady Children's

We hear the song every year during the holidays, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”

But for many of the children being treated at Rady Children’s Hospital, they won’t be able to be home for the holidays.

But thanks to donors and supporters of Rady Children’s Hospital and the doctors, nurses and staff there, special events are held every year during the holidays to help the kids and their parents feel more of the Christmas spirit.

From visits to the kids in the hospital from professional athletes and other famous people who don’t do it to get attention but do it to help the kids during the holidays who can’t be home for Christmas as they go through the care and treatment they need to get well.

And what better time than during the Christmas season than to touch the lives of kids and to help Rady Children’s do what they do to heal and help so many thousands of kids all year, to give a gift to this amazingly valuable asset in our community.

You can do that by making a monetary donation during our iHeart Rady Children’s Give-a-thon today. Keep listening all day to hear all the stories about the kids, families and caregivers at Rady Children’s and how you can help.

And remember, there’s no better feeling and no better way to celebrate Christmas than by giving to others, especially when it comes to kids.
