You probably didn’t even know it. but yesterday, August 25th was National Kiss and Make Up Day.
But that doesn’t mean you still can’t do something about ending an argument or a dispute with someone.
The founders of National Kiss and Make Up Day say it can be a reminder that making amends with someone with whom you’ve had problems can happen any day of the year.
They point out that all of us have probably had a quarrel with someone at some point in our lives, involving a friend, a family member, a neighbor or a co-workers.
And often when these things go on for a time, it can sometimes become hard to remember what started it or who was at fault.
And of course right now, here in 2024, there are friends and family members who are arguing over politics in an election year that is marked by some deep disagreements and when nasty things are said at times.
So maybe a reminder prompted by this year’s Kiss and Make Up Day comes at just the right time.
