What the Arguments Over the Election Are All About

As these final days before Election Day wind down, the presidential candidates are making their final arguments to voters and a lot of pundits are giving their final opinions on what this election year has been like.

You’ve heard the increasing number of news stories and reports from pollsters about how stressed many Americans are over the election.

And you’ve seen and heard the harsh and mean things that have been said by some of the politicians and maybe by some of your co-workers or some of your friends or even by family members.

Relationships have been affected by this election season, no doubt.

But as we begin to head into the holiday season after the election here’s something to think about from one political pundit this week and may be something that all Americans might want to think about.

“The United States is the only country in the world made up of all of the world’s people…that has made us the most powerful country on Earth, and together, we have fed more people, clothed more people, liberated more people and done more good in the world than all of the other nations of the world put together since the beginning of time.”

Powerful words to be sure.  Especially at a time when Americans are debating what America is about.
