With the average price for a gallon of regular gas now at about six dollars, has it affected where you go, how much you drive or caused you to cut back on other expenses?
If the rising gas prices haven’t made you do any of those things already, they probably will. Because all the signs point to gas prices continuing to go up.
Some experts are predicting prices as high as 7 or even 8 dollars a gallon in California before gas prices begin to fall.
The average price nationwide is at 4 dollars and could likely be 5 dollars a gallon.
So while we pay more here in California, the whole country is facing the same thing. And until the war with Iran goes away and the cuts in oil production and shipping along with it, the price of gas will be affected.
When it costs you nearly 100 dollars or even more than that to fill up your gas tank, it gets your attention.
And it is likely to affect your travelling and spending behavior, that is after you get angry about it.
