With the midterm election just about six weeks away, get ready for even more back and forth attacks and political ads.
And after the election is over, then the battle for the 2028 presidential election will start.
And during the next two years, there is sure to be just as much political fighting, and maybe even more, with the country very divided, over politics, beliefs and attitudes.
We argue with each other on the radio talk shows, the cable news channels, among co-workers, friends and sometimes, sadly, even family members.
Nasty things are said and feelings can even be hurt.
But maybe some words of advice from a book called the Bible may offer a way out.
How about these words:“If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.” Another translation puts it this way. “Do your best to live at peace with everyone.”
Words to think about…and remember…for the times we are in.
