How To Prevent Cataracts

Sunglasses are a year round necessity, and many people may not realize just how much protection they give you.

Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, you should be wearing sunglasses

Dr. Steven Liebham with U-S Healthworks tells KOGO news those glasses  protect you from the U-V radiation, and if you don't wear them you could likely get cataracts.

You also get radiation from blue light, or computers.

He says computer glasses protect you from those rays, and another issue in the office, flourescent lights.

Sunglasses should be used on babies and toddlers.
