The Second Cause Of Cancer In Young Women-Skin Cancer

Every day is a beach day in San Diego. If it's not warm enough to swim, it's certainly usually pleasant enough for a walk. But, whatever the conditions, you should be wearing sun screen. But still, many people don't.

Dr. Stephen Leibham with U-S Healthworks in San Diego tells KOGO News for young women, skin cancer is the second cause of cancer in women in their twenties.

Dr Leibham says anytime you get a sunburn, you'r damaging your skin and with young people it's important they are protected. 

A person sunburned at age 13, may develop skin cancer in their 20's or 30's.
