Clues into Alzheimer's Disease: Genetics and Diet

A study on Alzheimer's shows genetics plays a big role on whether someone will develop the disease. 

The study from USC indicates a diet high in cholesterol, fat, and sugar may influence the development of Alzheimer's disease in people who carry a particular gene, the APOE 4 gene, which is a leading risk factor for Alzheimer's.

The study is the latest to explore the association between obesity and Alzheimer's disease, both of which  are associated with inflammation and both of which affect millions of people.
