Rady Children's Hospital Pledges Support To Young Victims Of Abuse

This is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Tuesday morning at Rady Children's Hospital, several people wearing blue formed a human chain around the fountain in front of the hospital.

They ranged from volunteers to law enforcement to doctors and nurses, and they formed a circle representing their pledge to children and the community.

Charles Wilson is the the senior director of the Chadwick center at Rady's and explains the form in which child abuse and neglect appears, who reports it, and how children's psychological injuries may be more detrimental than physical injuries.

Listen to a very informative four minute interview below.
