Recognize The Shirt Or Suspect In This San Diego Robbery?

This man is wanted for robbing Randy's Mini Mart on El Cajon Boulevard. He was wearing an Oakland Raider's sweatshirt and used a gun.

Investigators from the San Diego Police Department’s Robbery Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating an unknown suspect wanted for a commercial armed robbery of Randy’s Mini Market located in the El Cerrito area of San Diego. 

On April 16, 2018, at approximately 9:25 p.m., an unknown adult male suspect walked into Randy’s Mini Market, located at 5739 El Cajon Boulevard, in San Diego. 

The suspect approached the clerk at the counter and pointed a black semi auto handgun at him. The suspect demanded money from the cash register and the clerk complied. 

The suspect placed an undisclosed amount of cash into the pocket of his hooded jacket and was last seen walking eastbound on El Cajon Boulevard. 

Suspect’s Description: The suspect is described as a Black male, 40 to 50-years-old, approximately 6’0” tall, 280 to 300 plus lbs., mustache, short hair, wearing a black zip-up style hooded jacket, a gray sports jersey with the Oakland Raiders logo on the front, black jeans, black tennis shoes, black gloves with reflective stripes on top, and black sunglasses. 

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the SDPD’s Robbery Unit at (619) 531-2299 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. 

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
