Crews extinguished a brushfire that burned near Carlsbad near Palomar Airport Friday morning.
The fire, which started in the 11am hour sent up a lot of smoke and reportedly prompted the evacuation of a nearby office building.
West bound Palomar Airport Rd. at Palomar Oaks had been closed as crews work to bring the flames under control.
There were no reported injuries or damage.
