Sony fires a top executive after he was caught on camera being accused of soliciting sex from a minor at his home in Carmel Valley.
64-year-old George Cacioppo was a senior vice president of engineering at PlayStation and worked for Sony for almost eight years. He is accused of chatting on the dating app Grindr with a 15-year-old boy. But it was actually a man with the YouTube vigilante account People vs. Preds, which live streams child predator ambushes.
The video has more than 100,000 views since it was streamed last Friday. It is unknown if Cacioppo will be criminally charged.
