CHULA VISTA - Parents and students at Castle Park High School in Chula Vista voice their frustrations about deteriorating campus conditions.
Parent Pedro Gomez tells NBC 7 he and other parents are not happy with what the district is telling them.
"They were just like 'it's not what you think' type answers," said Gomez. "We've been ignored."
During Thursday night's meeting a representative from the Sweetwater Union High School District said renovations and repairs to the aging facilities were already in the works. Castle Park High studetns created an Instagram profile where they are sharing photos of dilapidated buildings and neglected sports facilities.
Parents say they'll continue to voice their concerns at a school board later this month.
"We are going to keep pressuring until we get the answers that we need and hold people accountable," said Gomez.
