Take a Look at This Year's Comic-Con

SAN DIEGO - Thousands are descending on Downtown San Diego as Comic-Con gets underway.

Organizers cancelled the 2020 and 2021 events due to the pandemic, but offered a small-scale event which fans dubbed the 'mini-con' last November.

Attendees of this year's convention are looking forward to the panels of actors, showrunners, and artists as well as getting their hands on the collectables.

While gas prices and inflation have made a trip to Comic-Con more expensive than in years past, reactions are mixed, with some attendees saying they're not letting it bother them while others say they're being a little more cautious. Comic-Con officially starts Thursday, July 21 and runs through Sunday, July 24.
